Welcome to Grade 6!

We would like to welcome you and your child to grade 6!  It is our pleasure to be your child’s teacher this year and we look forward to working together as a team to ensure your child’s success. 

This year will be filled with new opportunities and challenges as grade 6 is the beginning of your child’s middle school years.  We intend to encourage and support your child’s efforts to master the grade 6 curriculum by providing him/her with many opportunities to discover and share ideas and take part in meaningful experiences. 

This package provides you with a glimpse of what to expect this upcoming school year.  Please note that we have an open door policy, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions or would just like to touch base.
